Actilyse 50 mg - Indication of :
Myocardial infarction: Alteplase is given intravenously as thrombolytic therapy to patients with suspected occlusive coronary artery thrombi. Alteplase should be given as soon as possible or within 12 hours of symptom onset. Pulmonary embolism: Alteplase is given as thrombolytic therapy in patients with acute massive pulmonary embolism. Acute ischaemic stroke: Alteplase is given as thrombolytic in the treatment of acute ischaemic stroke. Alteplase should be started within three hours after the onset of stroke symptoms only after intracranial haemorrhage has been excluded by CT.
