Indication of Atrovent Autohaler/Atrovent Forte:

Used for severe acute asthmaUsed for maintenance treatment in COPD and severe asthmaUsed as alternative to or in combination with beta 2 agonists in COPD

Action of Atrovent Autohaler/Atrovent Forte:

Promote widening of airway diameter.

Dose Advice of Atrovent Autohaler/Atrovent Forte:

Autohaler: MDI (breath activated); 20mcg/dose; 200 dosesForte: MDI; 40mcg/dose 200 dosesAdult: MDI: 40 mcg, repeat 3-4 times daily as necessary; up to 80mcg 3-4 times daily may be needed Neb: 250-500mcg up to 3-4 times daily.(dilute solution for nebulisation with 0.9% sodium chloride solution)Child: MDI (child
