Indication of Atrovent Nasal/Atrovent Nasal Forte:
Used for rhinorrhoea associated with allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, and common cold. Dries nasal sceretions.Action of Atrovent Nasal/Atrovent Nasal Forte:
Promote drying of nasal secretions by cholinergic inhibition.Dose Advice of Atrovent Nasal/Atrovent Nasal Forte:
Atrovent Nasal: Nasal spray, 21mcg/dose, 180 doses.Atrovent Nasal Forte: Nasal spray, 42mcg/dose, 180 doses.Rhinorrhoea (allergic or vasomotor rhinitis): Atrovent nasal spray: Initially 2-4 sprays into each nostril, 2-3 times daily then reduce dose as rhinorrhoea improves.Atrovent nasal forte spray: Initially 1-2 sprays into each nostril 2-3 times daily, then reduce dose as rhinorrhoea improves.Rhinorrhoea (common cold): Atrovent nasal spray: Initially 4 sprays into each nostril, 3-4 times daily then reduce dose as rhinorrhoea improves; use for up to 4 days.Atrovent nasal forte spray: Initially 2 sprays into each nostril 3-4 times daily, then reduce dose as rhinorrhoea improves; use for up to 4 days.Schedule of Atrovent Nasal/Atrovent Nasal Forte:
