Indication of Caltrate Tablets:

Caltrate tablets are used for relief of the symptoms of indigestion and heartburn experienced by patients with: Gastric hyperacidityHeartburnGastritisHiatus herniaGastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD)Peptic ulcersStomach upset Also a good source of calcium.

Action of Caltrate Tablets:

The active ingredient, calcium carbonate, neutralises excess acid produced by the stomach, thereby reducing the burning symptoms associated with indigestion.

Dose Advice of Caltrate Tablets:

Adults: Chew 1-2 tablets after foodMaximum 16 tablets per dayChildren: Suitable for use in children aged over 6 onlyChew 1 tablet after foodMaximum 8 tablets per day
