Indication of Carboplatin Injection:
Treatment of various cancers including ovarian, small cell lung carcinoma, carcinoma of the head, neck and testis, some pediatric brain tumours, soft tissue sarcomas and neuroblastoma.Action of Carboplatin Injection:
Carboplatin targets and kills cancer cells. It does this by damaging the DNA within the cell.Dose Advice of Carboplatin Injection:
Carboplatin is administered intravenously.One dose for previously untreated adults with normal renal function is 500mg/m2 In general, carboplatin is given over 15-60 mins with at least 4 weeks between each treatment.Schedule of Carboplatin Injection:
