Indication of Daraprim:

Used for the treatment of acquired and congenital toxoplasmosis

Action of Daraprim:

Pharmacology.Pyrimethamine disrupts protozoal (e.g. toxoplasmosis) cell function.Pharmacokinetics.Peak plasma levels are achieved 2-4 hours after oral administration. Half life is approximately 90 hours.

Dose Advice of Daraprim:

Adults, Children > 6 years.Daraprim: 2 tablets initially, then 1 tablet daily. (Coadminister Sulfadiazine 150 mg/kg/day)Children.2-6 years: 1 tablet initially, then
