Indication of Entocort:
Budesonide is used for the following indications: Treatment of mild to moderate Crohns disease affecting the ileum and/or the ascending colon.To prevent relapse during maintenance therapy for Crohns disease.Action of Entocort:
Corticosteroids alter genes within the bodies cells to reduce the bodies normal inflammation and immune responses.Dose Advice of Entocort:
9 mg one a day taken as a single dose in the morning.Budesonide can be used during pregnancy if required and is safe for use during breastfeeding.Schedule of Entocort:

- Heartburn.- Increased susceptibility to infections such as thrush.- Masking of signs of infection.- Acne.- Osteoporosis and bone fractures.- Muscle weakness.- Increased appetite.- Delayed healing of wounds.- Thin fragile skin.- Reduced growth in children.- Cessation of menstruation.- Psychotic episodes.- Depression.- Bruising.Uncommon side effects of Entocort:
- Burning and tingling sensation in the genital area.- Death of bone in the hip, ankle and shoulder.- Fractures of the vertebral bodies.Diseases treated by Entocort:
