Common side effects of Epirubicin Hydrochloride Injection (DBL):
Cardiotoxicity - The anthracycline antibiotics have a cumulative cardiotoxicity. Total cumulative dose of anthracycline should not exceed 450mg/m2 without gated heart scan and further heart testing.Haematological - Epirubicin will suppress the production of all blood cellsNausea / Vomiting - Epirubicin can cause quite severe nausea but the patients responds well to antiemetic treatment.Alopecia - Hair loss is common whilst on epirubicin.
