Fefol - Basic Information

 

Indication of Fefol:

Fefol is used to prevent and treat iron deficiency anaemia and folate deficiency particularly during pregnancy.

Action of Fefol:

Iron is an essential trace element that is required for the formation of haemoglobin and myoglobin important components of the blood. Fefol tablets also contain a sufficient amount of folic acid to prevent the development of folate deficiency during pregnancy.

Dose Advice of Fefol:

The usual recommended dose for non-pregnant and pregnant adults is one tablet once a day Fefol is safe to give during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
