Indication of H-B-Vax II:

H-B-Vax II is used for immunisation against infection caused by the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). It is recommended in all adults who are at risk of contracting the virus, especially: -healthcare workers-sex industry workers-inmates and staff of institutions-travellersHepatitis B vaccination has recently been added to the routine immunisation schedule for all newborn babies. Adolescents who have received this vaccine as a baby do not require it again.Individuals who have HBV antibodies as a result of previous infection with the virus will receive no extra benefit from the vaccine.

Action of H-B-Vax II:
