Ikorel - Basic Information

 

Indication of Ikorel:

Ikoril is used in the treatment of chronic, stable angina.

Action of Ikorel:

Ikoril acts by two different mechanisms to cause dilatation of the blood vessels in the body. This result in improved blood and oxygen supply to the heart relieving angina.

Dose Advice of Ikorel:

The recommended starting dose is 10 mg given twice daily and the usual dosing ranges from 10 - 20 mg twice daily. In patients who are prone to headache or other side effects a starting dose of 5 mg twice daily should be used
