Indication of Lasix:
Used for the treatment of oedema and hypertension. Lasix may be used alone, or in conjunction with other agents.Action of Lasix:
Lasix (fruesemide) is a powerful diuretic. It interferes with salt (sodium, chloride) and water absorption in the kidney, and increases the amount of water lost from the body in the urine.The onset of action is less than one hour after oral dosing, and less than five minutes after intravenous administration. Frusemide has a half life of 100 minutes.Dose Advice of Lasix:
