Leucovorin Calcium Injection USP - Indication of :
Leucovorin is used to reduce toxicity following high-dose methotrexate therapy in a process known as folinic acid rescue. It can also be used in accidental methotrexate overdose or in cases where excretion of methotrexate from the body is impaired In advanced bowel cancer, Leucovorin can be used in combination with fluorouracil, as a mediator of cytotoxicity.
