Indication of M-M-R II:
Used for simultaneous immunisation of children 12-15 months, against measles, mumps and rubella.
Action of M-M-R II:
Pharmacology.The MMR-II vaccine induces antibody formation in 95-99% of cases and is well tolerated in most patients. MMR-II vaccine induced antibody levels persist for at least 2 two years without substantial decline.
Dose Advice of M-M-R II:
Use in pregnancy (Category B2). The vaccine should not be administered to pregnant females, however it is not necessarily an indication for interruption of pregnancy (this decision should be made by the patient and her doctor). Pregnancy should be avoided for 3 months following vaccination.Use in lactation.Exercise caution when administering to breastfeeding woman.Use in children.Safety and efficacy has not been established in infants < 6 months for the measles vaccine, and infants < 12 months for the mumps and rubella vaccine.
