Indication of Maxolon:
Used for the relief of nausea and vomiting, and for the treatment of diabetic gastroparesis.Action of Maxolon:
Maxolon stimulates activity in the upper gastrointestinal tract. Its onset of action after oral administration is 30-60 minutes, 10-15 minutes following intramuscular administration, and 1-3 minutes after intravenous administration.Maxolon is excreted from the body in the urine.Dose Advice of Maxolon:
Dosage recommendations given should be strictly adhered to and patients on prolonged therapy should be regularly reviewed to avoid dystonic side effects.Total daily dosage of Maxolon, especially for children and young adults, should not normally exceed 0.5 mg/kg bodyweight. Maxolon should only be used after careful examination to avoid masking an underlying disorder, e.g. cerebral irritation.Schedule of Maxolon:

Affecting around 10% of patients: Restlessness, drowsiness, fatigue and raised serum prolactin levels.Uncommon side effects of Maxolon:
