Salazopyrin, Salazopyrin EN-tabs - Indication of :
Pyralin is used in the treatment of ulcerative colitis and Crohns disease, the inflammatory bowel diseases of unknown cause. It is used in conjunction with dietary and supportive measures and is especially useful in relapse prevention rather than treatment of acute episodes (where topical rectal steroids are more useful). Pyralin EN is also used in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis that has not responded to NSAID therapy.
