Benzodiazepines potentiate the inhibitory effects of gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA throughout the CNS, resulting in anxiolytic, sedative hypnotic, muscle relaxant and antiepileptic effects
Dose Advice of Serepax:
Mild to moderate anxiety: 7.5-15 mg 3-4 times dailySevere anxiety: 15-30mg 3-4 times dailyElderly: Initially 7.5mg 2-3 times daily, to a maximum of 15mg 3-4 times daily
