Indication of Talohexal:

Major depression

Action of Talohexal:

Selective inhibition of pre-synaptic uptake of serotonin (5- hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT)SSRIs inhibit liver cytochrome enzymes responsible for the metabolism of many other drugs, thus potentially interacting with those drugs by decreasing their metabolism

Dose Advice of Talohexal:

20mg once daily, gradually increasing if necessary to a maximum of 60mg daily (40mg in the elderly).Maintenance doses > 20mg are not usually necessary
