There are many conditions tegretol can be used for. It can be used to control epilepsy, a condition characterised by repeated fits or seizures. It is also used to manage trigeminal neuralgia a condition where a person experiences repeated facial pain. It is also used to manage mania, a condition where a person becomes overactive, highly excitable and irritable.Tegretol is also used to prevent and maintain a condition called bipolar disorder which is characterised by interchanging periods of mania and depression.
