Action of Veracaps SR:
Calcium channel blockers block the inward current of calcium into cells in the heart and the muscle wall of blood vessels. Verapamil acts mainly on the heart to reduce the force with which the heart contracts, slow the heart rate and slow electrical conduction through the heart.
