Zantac Relief - Basic Information

 

Indication of Zantac Relief:

Zantac Relief is indicated in the treatment of heartburn and indigestion associated with having too much acid in the stomach.

Action of Zantac Relief:

Ulcers in the stomach and duodenum are caused (or worsened) by too much acid in the stomach. Zantac Relief is a drug that blocks acid production by special cells in the stomach. Reducing the acid helps treat the symptoms of ulcers and reflux, and also helps the ulcers to heal. Ranitidine is helpful in preventing these problems from coming back as well.

Dose Advice of Zantac Relief:

Zantac Relief tablets should be swallowed whole with water, not chewed or crushed - one tablet should be taken when symptoms appear, day or night - if symptoms persist for longer than an hour, take another tablet - no more than two tablets should be taken in 24 hours.
